IIT Kharagpur strives persistently to enhance its performance by introducing new advancements that includes micro-specializations, industry-academia collaborations, comprehensive arrangements to facilitate interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary and multidisciplinary learning, enabling students to excel the confines of their respective curricula. 48 offers in the CTC range of 0.5 - 2.64 crore with 45 plus international offers were received by the students of the Institute this year with 5 foreign students also securing jobs in the campus placements. More than 300 companies have participated in this placement season across all sectors including software, high level coding, analytics, consulting, core engineering companies, banking / finance, high frequency trading etc. Companies including Airbus, Accenture Japan, Da Vinci Derivatives, Excel, Google, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Squarepoint Capital, N. K Securities, Hindustan Unilever, Tata Steel, Texas Instruments, Bajaj Auto, Jaguar Land Rover etc. have been valuable partner recruiters this year from IIT KGP. What is also encouraged is the students’ participation in various technological and socio-cultural events in national as well as international events shaping up their personalities as individuals.

The Institute invites various business houses to the Campus Recruitment Programme and Entrepreneurship Summits to give the graduating students an opportunity to prove themselves and add value to the organizations they desire to be a part of.
